The Breast Unit at Otamendi Hospital, which started its activities in 2018, is comprised of highly qualified professionals exclusively dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases, especially breast cancer, with an interdisciplinary approach.

Every year, approximately 22,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in Argentina, the most common cancer in women in developed countries and one of the few cancers that can be diagnosed in its earliest stages.

The Center covers prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of breast pathology, proposing strategies specifically designed for each particular case. This personalized approach makes the Breast Unit at Otamendi Hospital one of the reference centers in our country for the comprehensive evaluation, advice, and treatment of all breast pathologies.
