Fellowship in breast imaging

The program has been designed and structured for the specialized training of radiologists competent in diagnostic imaging and breast intervention, where a high academic and scientific level will be required, as well as human qualities.

This training program has been created with the aim of educating and training participants in patient care, examination, diagnosis, and follow-up, using a multidisciplinary approach.

It also aims to standardize language among the medical community, due to the increase in breast disease in our population.

The Medical Center has a Women's Center, a space that brings together the main diagnostic specialties for women's health, with an outpatient clinic area next to the breast radiology area, allowing for comprehensive patient care.

In terms of equipment, we have ultrasound machines, digital mammography machines, tomosynthesis, magnetic resonance imaging, pre-surgical markings, and diagnostic punctures.

The highly renowned medical group has maintained an ongoing commitment to continuing academic training within the Service and toward the medical community, publishing articles, participating in national and international conferences, and giving talks to the community. In the hospital setting, the medical group participates continuously in interdisciplinary exchanges.
