Functional disorders of the digestive tract are one of the most common conditions encountered in clinical practice in gastroenterology and internal medicine. Among the most common pathologies are viral, toxic, drug-induced, and autoimmune hepatitis. Cholestatic diseases such as primary biliary cirrhosis, primary sclerosing cholangitis, biliary tract obstruction, metabolic and hereditary diseases such as steatohepatitis, hemochromatosis, and Wilson's disease.
