What is the PAC?
The Patient Advisory Council is an initiative created within the framework of PCP (Patient-Centered Care).

It facilitates participation, learning about and understanding the patient's perspective on the institution
by contributing their views and promoting ideas that contribute to continuous improvement.
The Patient Advisory Council is a group of patients and/or family members of patients selected
by the Institution that meets periodically to evaluate proposals for topics requested by
different bodies of Medical Center.
Council members contribute their perspectives and personal experiences to identify areas for improvement and suggest changes that can make care more patient- and family-centered, with the goal of ensuring that the patient's voice is heard and actively integrated into the decisions and changes that are made.

MISSION:
Focus on patients' vision, understand their needs, and address problems
from the perspective of those who suffer from them.

VISION:
Integrate the perspective of patients and their families into the culture of Medical Center by promoting
and spreading awareness of the importance of listening to people's physical, psychological, emotional, and
spiritual needs.

Who is on the Patient Advisory Council?:
The Patient Advisory Council is an entity made up of people who fulfill different
roles in the Institution as patients, family members, or caregivers, and people who belong to the Institution who act as facilitators between the PAC and the Institution.
