Our services
In a clinical diagnosis, our doctors or healthcare professionals evaluate the symptoms and signs that a patient presents to determine the possible underlying cause. The clinical diagnosis process may include the following:
Medical history: Our doctors will take a detailed medical history of the patient to obtain information about current and previous symptoms, as well as any previous medical conditions or treatments.
Physical examination: A physical examination will be performed to assess the patient's signs and symptoms. This may include measuring blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, auscultation of the heart and lungs, and palpation of the abdomen and other areas.
Laboratory tests: Laboratory tests, such as blood and urine tests, may be ordered to measure the levels of certain substances in the body or to detect the presence of infections or other abnormalities.
Diagnostic imaging tests: If necessary, diagnostic imaging tests such as X-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, ultrasounds, or PET scans may be requested to help visualize internal structures of the body and detect possible abnormalities.
Biopsy: In some cases, a biopsy may be performed, which involves removing a sample of tissue for microscopic examination. This can help confirm the diagnosis of cancer or other conditions.
Once these evaluations have been completed, we can recommend an appropriate treatment plan for the patient.
It is important to remember that each case is unique and may require different tests and evaluations, and that the diagnostic process may be ongoing as doctors monitor and adjust the treatment plan based on the patient's response.
