The Breast Unit at Medical Center began operating in 2018. It is staffed by highly qualified professionals who are exclusively dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases, especially breast cancer, using a multidisciplinary approach.
Every year, 18,000 new cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in Argentina. Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women in developed countries and one of the few cancers that can be diagnosed in its earliest stages.
The Unit's objective is to provide quality medical care and it sees working together with primary care physicians as the cornerstone of its assistance.
