A scintigram with a labeled antibiotic (ciprofloxacin Tc99m) is a nuclear medicine test used to detect infections. In this test, the patient is given a radioactively labeled antibiotic, and images are then taken with a gamma camera that detects the radiation emitted by the injected material. Some of the infections that can be detected are those related to prostheses and osteoarticular infections.

The study is performed on two consecutive days.
Immediately after the injection, images are taken, and the patient must return after 4 hours for new images (30-40 minutes). The next day, images are taken after 24 hours.
