Myocardial perfusion with hyperventilation and cold is performed by injecting a radiopharmaceutical into the patient's bloodstream while they are at rest, followed by a series of images taken after exposure to cold. This procedure is performed to assess blood perfusion of the heart and detect possible areas of ischemia or lack of blood flow in the heart muscle.
