The timing of your discharge is very important, which is why you will be informed 24 hours in advance. This will help us identify that the room is empty. Making the room available as soon as possible helps us prepare it for a new patient. We appreciate your cooperation. For patients who require transportation and/or are waiting for a family member, we ask that you do so in the common areas of Medical Center order to allow for the prompt delivery of the room to incoming patients.
Patients who require ambulance transport are exempt from this rule and must wait in the corresponding room. Your cooperation is essential to avoid delays for patients who are waiting for a room.
Who can request a medical record?
The patient is the owner of the medical record and, as such, has unrestricted access to it in all formats.
A family member (father, mother, son/daughter, grandchild, spouse).
A third party (friend, neighbor, partner, guardian, curator, representative)
What are the requirements?
The patient must present their ID card.
The family member must present the patient's authorization when requesting a copy of their medical records and provide documentation proving their relationship to the patient.

HOW AND WHERE DO I REQUEST THE EPICRISIS?
The epicrisis is a summary of the medical record and must be given to the patient or family member at the time of discharge, without exception, by the treating team. In cases of outpatient procedures/surgeries, epicrisis are not made as they are minor interventions, but a copy of the medical record can be provided.
